On a real store job
A real store cleanout.Back room to truck bed.
Two real retail jobs: metal store shelving taken apart on site, and back stock carried out of a stockroom and loaded up the ramp. Filmed on ordinary workdays, with nothing staged for the camera.
How it works
Retail cleanouts in 3 easy steps, from walkthrough to empty floor.
Walk us through the space
Call us or send a few photos through the form: the sales floor, the back room and anything bolted down. A rough list of what's going is plenty to start.
A few minutes
Get a clear quote
We price by how much room the load takes up in the truck, never by the hour, so a slow freight door or a long walk to the loading zone doesn't add to your bill. The crew confirms the exact price on site before anything moves.

We clear it out
Fixtures, shelving, displays and back stock come out and go on the truck, and anything still usable goes to a reuse partner first. You get the keys back to an empty space.

Why stores call us
Your deadline is ours. We work to your lease date.

We’re a family owned and operated crew, and we know a retail cleanout usually comes with a hard date attached: a closing day, a remodel crew booked for Monday, or keys due back to the landlord. Doing it in-house means pulling staff off the floor or bringing in temporary help, and it’s tough, strenuous work for a team that was hired to sell. Nobody on your staff should be wrestling a gondola into a truck. Store fixture removal, shelving removal and the back room nobody’s opened in years are everyday work for us, and because we price by space in the truck, a long carry to the loading door never adds to your bill.

Commercial pricing
Quoted by volume, not by the hour.
Retail cleanouts are priced by how much room everything takes up in our truck, not by how long the job runs. That keeps the number predictable for an owner or a district office, even when the stockroom is three doors back from the loading zone.
Small jobs have their own rates, so a couple of display cases is never priced like a full store. Quotes are free, online or by phone, and the crew confirms the exact price on site before anything is loaded. If your stores turn over fixtures or back stock often, ask us about regular pickups. The back room stays clear, and nobody has to be hired just to haul things out.
A few fixtures
A couple of display cases, an old checkout counter or the shelving left over after a refresh. Small jobs have their own rate.
A stockroom
Back stock, broken fixtures, empty racking and the boxes that never quite got broken down. Clearing it in-house usually means pulling people off the floor for a day or more.
A full sales floor
Gondolas, slatwall, mannequins, signage and counters from a remodel or a closing, cleared by our crew so your staff can stay on the work they were hired for.
A whole location
Closing for good or moving out. Sales floor, back room and office, quoted as one job.

The address, the date and a rough idea of what’s going is plenty. Add a few photos if you have them, and we’ll come back with a quote that fits your timeline.

Why it’s hard to DIY
A store doesn’t clear itself. Here’s what slows it down.
Most stores close or remodel on a fixed date, and almost everything inside was built to stay put. These are the three things that make a retail cleanout harder than it looks.
Fixtures are built in
Gondolas, slatwall and checkout counters are bolted, anchored or wired in place, and some pieces only come out in sections. They're heavy, awkward and easy to scrape a floor with on the way out.
A dumpster isn't enough
A roll-off bin needs a spot in the lot or a permit for the street, sits there for days, and still leaves your team doing every bit of the carrying. It also can't take electronics like old registers and screens.
The lease date won't move
Keys are due back on a set day, often with an empty, broom-clean space written into the deal. Everything has to be out before the walkthrough, not the week after.
Fixtures still good?
Liquidators and used-fixture dealers will sometimes buy or collect good gondolas, display cases and racking, and local reuse groups take smaller pieces. If you’re closing a store, it’s worth a call or two before closing day.
Whatever’s left once they’ve been through, we’ll clear, and anything usable that leaves with us still goes to a reuse partner first. Just give us a call.

After the doors close
Where retail junk goes once it’s loaded.
A store cleanout is mostly metal, wood and cardboard, and very little of it needs to be buried. Here’s the order it moves through once it’s on our truck.
Usable fixtures reused
Shelving, display cases and racking in good shape go to a reuse partner first, so another business can put them back to work.
Metal and cardboard recycled
Steel gondolas, wire racks and the mountain of cardboard from the back room are sorted out of the mixed load and sent to recycling.
Electronics handled separately
Old registers, screens and point-of-sale hardware count as e-waste in California, so they go to an e-waste recycler instead of the landfill.
What's left goes last
Broken particleboard, damaged stock and anything that genuinely can't be reused or recycled. It's the smallest part of the job, and we keep it that way.

Retail cleanout FAQ
Planning a store clear-out? Start here.
Timing, fixtures, inventory, insurance and pricing. These are the questions owners and store managers ask before they book.
It depends on how much room everything takes up in our truck, not on how long the job runs. A few fixtures have their own rate, and a full store is quoted by volume. Tell us about the space for a free quote, and the crew confirms the exact price on site before anything is loaded.
Yes, that's usually the first thing we plan around. Tell us when the keys are due back or when the remodel crew starts, and we'll book the cleanout to fit. Same-day and next-day slots do open up, but the earlier you call, the easier it is to land the exact date you need.
Yes. Gondolas, wall shelving, slatwall, display cases, racking, counters, mannequins and signage all come out. If something is bolted down or wired in, mention it when you book so we can plan for it.
We can haul unsold or damaged stock along with everything else, and anything still usable goes to a reuse partner first. If some of it has special disposal rules, like electronics, tell us up front and we'll make sure it goes to the right place.
Someone should let us in and point out what's staying, but you don't need to stand over the job. Plenty of managers walk us through, get back to their day, and check in once the space is clear.
Absolutely. A stockroom, one run of fixtures or a few broken displays are all real jobs here, with their own rates. You don't need to be closing the store to give us a call.
