Bay Area Office Cleanouts. Desk & Cubicle Removal.

Desks, cubicles, conference tables and filing cabinets were carried in once and never meant to leave, and getting them out through tight corners and shared elevators is real work. Our office cleanout crew carries it all down and out to the truck, so your team stays on the work they were hired for. We cover offices from the East Bay and Tri-Valley over to the Peninsula and down through the South Bay, and well beyond.

How we carry

Heavy pieces, real jobs.Watch the crew handle it.

One real office cleanout, before and after. A floor full of cubicles, desks and chairs, then the same rooms walked through once the crew had cleared them. Junk Magik brings that same care to your office.

How it works

Office cleanouts in 3 steps, from first call to empty floor.

  1. Tell us about the office

Call us or send photos through the form: the rooms, the storage closet and anything still assembled. Mention the floor and whether there's an elevator, and that's plenty to start.

    Photos are plenty

  2. Get your free quote

Priced by the space everything takes in the truck, never by the hour, so a long hallway or a slow elevator doesn't add to the bill. The crew confirms the exact price on site before loading.

    No obligation to book

  3. We carry it out

Desks, chairs, cabinets and equipment come down and out to the truck with our crew doing every carry. Your team keeps working, and the space is left empty.

Why offices call us

Your team has work to do. We’ll carry the desks.

We’re a family owned and operated crew, and clearing offices is exactly the kind of job we’re built for. Doing it yourself usually means asking staff to give up a day, renting a truck, and finding out the conference table won’t fit the elevator. Office furniture removal, cubicle removal and filing cabinet disposal are everyday work for us, and our crew can take furniture apart when that’s what it takes to get it out the door. Because we price by truck space, a long hallway or a slow freight elevator never adds to your bill.

  • Licensed and insured on every job
  • No staff pulled off their work
  • Furniture taken apart when it won't fit
  • Good pieces go to a reuse partner first
  • Priced by volume, never by the hour

Office pricing

Priced by what’s leaving, not by how long it takes.

An office cleanout is priced by how much room everything takes up in our truck, not by the hours it takes to carry it out. Ten floors up or a long walk to the loading dock doesn’t change how we price it, which makes the quote easy to get approved.

A few chairs or one desk have their own rate, so a small job is never priced like a whole floor. Quotes are free online or by phone, and the crew confirms the exact price on site before anything is loaded. If your team retires furniture and equipment regularly, ask about regular pickups, and Junk Magik keeps the storage room clear.

  • A few pieces

A broken desk, a stack of old chairs or the filing cabinet nobody opens anymore. Small jobs have their own rate, and they're never too small to call about.

  • One room or suite

A conference room, a storage closet or a small suite after a team shrinks. Every desk is a careful carry through doorways and down the hall, and that part is ours.

  • A full floor

Workstations, cubicle panels, conference tables, filing cabinets and the breakroom, cleared for a move-out or a lease end and quoted as one job.

  • Ongoing pickups

Growing teams swap furniture and retire equipment all year. Regular pickups keep a storage room from turning into a second office full of old desks.

What makes it tricky

Offices don’t empty easily. Here’s what gets in the way.

Most office furniture went in once and was never meant to leave. These are the three things that slow an office cleanout down, and how Junk Magik deals with each one.

  1. Built for the floor, not the elevator

Conference tables, L-shaped desks and lateral files went in once, years ago. Getting them out means tight corners, a shared elevator and a long hallway, and a filing cabinet with paper still in it is heavier than it looks. Junk Magik's crew handles every carry, start to finish.

  2. Does someone need to be there?

Someone should let us in and show us what's staying, and after that you don't need to stand over the job. If the building has rules, like booking the freight elevator or using the loading dock at set times, tell us when you book and Junk Magik plans the day around them.

  3. Files and drives come first

Before anything leaves, the records and data inside it are yours to take care of. Have your IT team wipe or pull hard drives, and shred or archive files the way your policies require. Once that's done, Junk Magik takes the furniture, cabinets and equipment that held them.

What we leave behind

A few things found in offices count as hazardous and need a licensed handler instead of a general hauler. If you’re unsure about anything in the supply closet, give us a call and we’ll tell you straight away.

Everything else, from the reception desk to the last broken chair, Junk Magik is glad to haul away.

After it’s loaded

Where does old office furniture go after it leaves your building?

Most of an office cleanout is wood, metal and electronics, and a good share of it still has life left in it. Here’s the order a Junk Magik load moves through once it leaves your building.

  1. Good furniture reused first

Desks, chairs and tables with plenty of life left go to a reuse partner before anything else, so someone else can put them back to work.

  2. Metal recycled

Steel filing cabinets, desk frames and cubicle hardware come out of the load and go to scrap metal recycling.

  3. Electronics to an e-waste recycler

Monitors, computers, printers and copiers count as e-waste in California, so they're kept out of the mixed load and sent to be recycled properly.

  4. Landfill only for the rest

Broken particleboard and worn-out pieces with nowhere better to go. They go last, and we keep that share as small as we can.

Office cleanout FAQ

Moving or downsizing? Start with these answers.

Cost, scheduling, building rules and what happens to old furniture. These are the questions office managers ask Junk Magik before they book.

  • It's priced by how much space everything takes up in our truck, not by how long the job takes. A few pieces have their own rate, and a full office is quoted by volume. Quotes are free online or by phone, and the crew confirms the exact price on site before loading.

  • Yes. Cubicle panels, workstations and desks all come out, and our crew can take furniture apart when that's what it takes to get it through the door. If anything is still wired in or fixed to the wall, mention it when you book so we can plan for it.

  • It's best to clear them first. Confidential files should go through your own shredding or records process, and an empty cabinet is far easier to carry. Once they're empty, the cabinets come out with everything else.

  • They go to an e-waste recycler, since California keeps electronics out of the landfill. Before pickup, have your IT team wipe or remove any hard drives, because the data on them is yours to protect.

  • Yes. If the building needs the freight elevator reserved, a set loading dock time or anything similar, tell us when you book and we'll plan the day around it.

  • Yes. Tell us the day the space needs to be empty and we'll book the cleanout to fit. Same-day and next-day slots do open up, but calling early makes it much easier to land the exact day you want.

  • Absolutely. A single desk or a stack of broken chairs is a real job for us, with its own rate. You don't need to be moving offices to give Junk Magik a call.
